VISION Seat Provides an In-Depth Look at the Window Coverings Industry

Window Fashion VISION is now offering a new way to learn about the latest in drapes, top treatments, shades, screens and other topics of interest to window treatment professionals. Vision Seat, a biweekly Facebook Live broadcast, will give viewers a look behind the scenes of the industry, highlighting trends, movers and shakers, educational opportunities, suppliers, and other information people need to make their businesses stronger.

Anyone can tune into our Facebook page to view the 30- to 40-minute broadcast. Each show will be saved to the page so people can watch them later. A live chat function is available so viewers can ask questions and comment throughout the show.

The first episode of Vision Seat aired on Tuesday, January 14, and covered the topic “Predictions for the Next Decade.” Special guests Jana Platina Phipps (aka Trim Queen) and Jill Rodgers, owner of High Country Drapery Design in Georgia, joined magazine Editor-in-Chief Sophia Bennett for a lively and informative discussion. Bennett will rotate hosting duties with magazine Owner and Publisher Grace McNamara, as well as other special guests. Upcoming episodes will focus on highlighting speakers and topics that will be covered at the International Window Coverings Expo, March 25 to 27 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“Vision Seat is just the latest way Window Fashion VISION is promoting the window coverings industry—something we’ve been passionate about for more than 30 years,” said McNamara. “We’re excited to use this new technology to better serve a new audience, and to bring people fresh information and insights between issues of our bimonthly magazine.”
