Easton, Md.— Decorating Den Interiors announced the promotion of Elizabeth Hawkins to the position of director of education and training. “In this role, Elizabeth will provide leadership for all aspects of our Decorating Den Interiors University multiphase education program for new interior design business partners,” said James S. Bugg, Jr., CEO and president. “She will also lead our continuing education program that enables our interior designers to be on the cutting edge of design, client relations, marketing, and business management.”
“Elizabeth is a seasoned franchisee and interior designer who co-owns a franchise with her mother, Patrice, and her brother Edward,” Bugg added. “They’ve built a legacy of creating beautiful spaces.”
“My love for design was sparked by spending summers in my mom’s design firm, which led me to double major in interior design and art at Meredith College,” Hawkins said. “In 2006, I joined the Hawkins Team full-time.”

Hawkins joined the corporate staff part-time as a training specialist in 2023. In her new role she will be devoting full time to her new responsibilities.
