Celebrated Designer & Author Eric Ross Named IWCE 2026 Keynote Speaker
Raleigh, NC – The International Window Coverings Expo (IWCE), the leading trade show and conference for the window treatment industry, is proud to announce Eric Ross, nationally published interior designer, author and expert in Southern style, as the Keynote Speaker for IWCE 2026 in Raleigh, NC.
With more than 20 years of experience, Ross has established himself as a celebrated voice in traditional and Southern-inspired design. His signature work, known for its warmth, elegance and layered artistry, has been featured in Traditional Home, Southern Style, Southern Lady, The Cottage Journal, ADD Southern Home and other leading design publications.
A Kentucky native now based in Nashville, Ross is passionate about preserving classic decorating traditions while bringing them to life with a modern sensibility.
Eric’s latest book, Embracing Southern Homes, builds on the success of his first title, Enduring Southern Homes, and celebrates lush, layered interiors filled with Southern charm, classic elegance and artisanal touches. Known for his heartwarming stories, authentic voice and engaging social media presence, Eric inspires both designers and homeowners alike to see their spaces as meaningful reflections of life and legacy.
The IWCE 2026 keynote lecture will take place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 12:00–1:15 p.m. at the Raleigh Convention Center during the annual Keynote Luncheon. In his talk, “Why Soft Window Treatments Are a Win,” Ross will share his design philosophy, humorous anecdotes and inspiring stories about how soft window treatments have shaped his business and design journey over the past 25 years. Following the lecture, attendees will have the opportunity to meet Ross during a signing of his book Embracing Southern Homes.
Later that afternoon, Ross will lead an in-depth seminar titled “Pretty Yet Profitable – The Business of Selling Soft Window Treatments.” This highly practical session will focus on strategies for overcoming client objections, building healthy profit margins and working effectively with workrooms to maximize construction and yardage. With his trademark blend of experience and storytelling, Ross will provide attendees with tools to not only elevate their design approach but also increase profitability in their businesses.
