Botanical design takes center stage in a new collaboration between GreenRow and the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG), blending archival artwork with sustainably minded home furnishings.
The collection draws from NYBG’s extensive archives of botanical illustrations, including works housed in the renowned LuEsther T. Mertz Library Rare Book Collection. The result is a range of home textiles, décor and accessories inspired by the intricate colors, patterns and forms found in nature.
Spanning wallpaper, bedding, rugs, tabletop pieces, linens and decorative accessories, the collection reflects GreenRow’s vintage-inspired aesthetic while highlighting craftsmanship through hand-painted and handwoven details.
According to GreenRow, the designs were created to celebrate the artistry of botanical illustration while emphasizing responsibly sourced materials and thoughtful manufacturing practices.
The collaboration also highlights the New York Botanical Garden’s role as one of the world’s leading horticultural institutions. For 135 years, NYBG has served as a center for botanical research, conservation and education, while maintaining one of the most significant collections of plant-related archives and specimens in the world.
By bringing imagery from those archives into the home, the collection offers a fresh interpretation of botanical storytelling through interiors. The designs feature layered florals, natural motifs and richly detailed patterns that reflect both historical influences and contemporary tastes.

The GreenRow x NYBG collection is available online and at GreenRow’s flagship SoHo store in New York City. A curated assortment will also be offered for a limited time at the NYBG Shop in the Bronx.
To mark the launch, GreenRow will host a celebration at its SoHo location on June 10.
The collaboration also supports NYBG’s ongoing work in plant science research, conservation and education.
