Taking on a New Role
WFCP Members Join Advisory Board

The WFCP team recently launched a revamp to the Window Fashions Certified Professionals Program (WFCP™). Now we are implementing the exciting opportunities and new benefits for our members. WFCP is a community driven by a common passion for window fashions and committed to the belief that this is a powerful multi-faceted profession that can positively change peoples’ lives. One of the important parts of this new program is the creation of a WFCP Advisory Board to play an active role in events, education and long-term planning to help ensure the program’s continued growth and success.
The nine members of the WFCP Advisory Board will each serve a two year term. Their first task was a review of the Vision10 education program for the Atlanta show; they made numerous suggestions regarding the seminar offerings, titles, descriptions and ideas for additions to the seminar schedule. Some of the next tasks on their agenda include an overhaul of membership activities and benefits, as well as a review of WFCP policies.
Board meetings are held monthly by web conference, but the group is looking forward to a live meeting at Vision10. If you happen to see them there, please share your ideas regarding WFCP and the window coverings business. Each of them took on this additional responsibility because they want to see the WFCP community, and our entire business, prosper. Have an idea or comment that can’t wait? Find us on Facebook at Window Fashions Certified Professionals Group.
